A Slow Return to the Workshop

Just two weeks ago my mother-in-law woke me up from a nap asking if I had heard anything from my parents regarding my brother being in an accident... not 10 minutes later my father confirmed my brother had died at the hospital.

My brother, Sam, was 30 years old. He had just earned his Master Electrician's License this past May.

I've tried to distract myself by working on a couple of projects in my workshop. I've had limited success.

i stumbled upon your page some months back and had book marked it. I'm not much for wood turning, yet your work motivated me to keep your blog on hand. I think there's something about the approach that I enjoy reading up on.

With that said, I happened to stumple upon the bookmark just now, and wanted to send my condolences.

I hope this finds you doing at least a little better as each day goes by...

I've been trying to find the words to write you and say with heavy heart...

My deepest heartfelt condolences to you and your family for the tragic and sudden loss of your brother. I just hope that you, your family, and friends can find comfort and solace in oneanother.
